The Southeastern Minnesota Flying Club views itself as an ambassador of the broader aviation community. As such, we take pride in sharing our pursuit with others, and we regularly participate in outreach programs such as EAA's Young Eagles and sponsor educational seminars such as AOPA's Rusty Pilots.

Join us 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Rochester Int'l Airport General Aviation ramp for a Young Eagles Rally sponsored by EAA Chapter 100.
The Young Eagles program has dedicated more than 30 years to inspiring youth and introducing them to the world of aviation by discussing the breadth of opportunities aviation offers and giving introductory airplane rides. More than 2.5 million young people have enjoyed a free flight through the Young Eagles program since its inception in 1992!
